One of my windows 10 computers got the November update and the essentials connector was removed, it can no longer connect to the Windows 2012 Essentials server or be backed up by the Server. I tried to install the connector but it would not install so I am restoring the computer from backup. How do I prevent the November update from being re-installed until the issue is resolved.

The Windows 10 Update removed the essentials connector form every computer that I installed the update to, on most of them I was able to re-install the essentials connector and connect without issue but the one workstation just refused to connect and the connection wizard just crashed after I entered the credentials. I was eventually able to get the connector wizard to work on that computer by adding the server name and IP to the host file and also setting the DNS IP to be the address of the server prior to running the connector wizard. The Server is now able to see the workstation and it's status.

Note: I was able to hide the update on that computer until I was ready to work on the issue by using wushowhide.diagcab downloaded from Microsoft but when I tried to un-hide the update it could not be found so I used the media creation tool to Update Windows 10 which re-applied the update and I was able continue to troubleshoot the problem.
