I am still not understanding the difference in this latest TP between the Enterprise edition and the regular (Professional?).

Also, when installing the Enterprise edition, is it necessary to insert a serial number during installation?

    Thanks
I did a clean install and didn't have to enter a product code. Activated fine as well. In the past when I did the "upgrade" from one build to another it failed activation after the upgrade. I had to do a change product key to get it activated.

When I updated to the 9860 build I was logged in on a local account and everything went well. And now when I check for new preview build, which would be the 9879, it says no new preview build found. I have tried both fast and slow. Does anybody think that MS has changed it so that you have to be signed in with a MS account to get the preview builds?
I have this installed on a vm using Hyper-V Manager on Windows 8 and have never been signed in to Windows 10 with a MS account before! I did the original install by setting up a local account. I did this by putting in a email address that wasn't valid! And then I set up a local account!

I upgraded without being logged in on a M$ account and did not have 9860 on M$ account ever.

I'm tempted to go back to the first release of 10. Every release seems to introduce more bugs than the last. I still can't print anything in Firefox, Pale Moon or Thunderbird. When I use my capture card build 9879 crashes. It worked OK in build 9860. I tried a copy and paste in File Explorer and nothing happened. Same copy and paste worked OK in FreeCommander XE. 9879 takes longer to boot. I'm sure I can find more if I looked. I was going to make a ISO of 9879 and do a fresh install but I don't have the ESD file. Until more bugs get worked out I'll use 8.1 for my main OS.

Yep I can't print in Thunder bird either haven't tried Waterfox yet I suspect that they will have to fix it as M$ is not going to as other programs do print.

I have tested all of the following scenarios and can repeat them to get the 9879 ESD:

    1. Clean install 9860:
      • Download the 9879 upgrade. When download is ready, do not click Install now. Instead close the PC Settings, reboot, enable showing hidden items. ESD will be at C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources

    2. 9860 upgraded from 9841:
      • Before downloading the 9879 upgrade, delete file C:\$UPG$PBR.MARKER and folder C:\RecoveryImage. Do then as above in #1 (download but do not install 9879 upgrade, reboot, check C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources)

    3. Both of above scenarios (upgrade or clean 9860):
      • After downloading the 9879 upgrade click Install now. As soon as the installation has started, open File Explorer > drive C: with hidden items enabled, go to C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources and refresh the Explorer view until the Sources folder has been populated with upgrade files. Wait until you'll notice the folder is ready (refresh shows no files added anymore). Now copy the install.esd file to safe location and let upgrade finish. If upgrade fails or you no longer have the ESD file, you have your copy in safe place.

Thanks for the info! Getting to tired tonight so I may give it a try tomorrow.

Windows Phone app is very basic and boring. Just a graphical version of File Explorer. I hope there will include an emulator to open WP apps in the future. :)
