Installed on both my HP 23-N010 AIO and Surface Pro 1st Generation. Problems are few, but here are the most noticeable.

    1. OneDrive integration is fine, but while it is nice in Explorer, the OneDrive apps needs to be returned imo.
    2. Surface Pro - wireless won't hold connection on reboot/hibernate/sleep. Shows 'available'. Have to connect and then the system tools screen locks up and you can't close it.
    3. HP - on 'restart' on this dual-boot machine, it doesn't boot to the OS selection screen, it boots back into the OS it was restarted from when I do it from the W10-9879. From 8.1 and previous builds it would boot to the OS selection screen.

One thing I noticed on the installation is that the tiles showing on the start menu are much different on the two computers though both are based on the same setup.

On the Surface Pro all tiles from the 8.1 start screen are jammed into the start menu which makes it damn near unuseable. It stretches way off the screen.

On the HP, only some of the tiles show automagically.

The difference between the two installs/upgrades may be the cause.

The HP was installed as a virgin and the picked the 'master' machine during the install. After that it was just upgrading to the 2 builds.

The Surface Pro was upgraded from the 8.1 that had been on it and running, so it picked up things from it.

Seems quicker than last time to download (12 hours)

Been going for 3 hours and looks like it has downloaded about 1.4 GB, about another 3 hours and should be done

Anyone managed to enable the new Continuum / new start screen, seen it mentioned here but doesn't say how to do it

Seemed slower to download and definitely longer to install than the last preview on Inspiron 1525 with 2 Meg connection

The video really isn't about Continuumn except maybe looking for it. Continuumn is when one has a hybrid convertible it changes Modern with Start Screen to desktop mode with Start Menu when detaching a keyboard. The onscreen keyboard option will appear also.

I'm still locked/greyed out of booting to Start Screen.

Good luck on your install, Paul. :)

The last 2 builds, I could get to boot to start screen, this one won't. Closest to it is to make the change in properties and then when you tap the Windows key it goes to the start screen. Doesn't seem to want to go to it any other way.

Took my Surface Pro 1st Gen back to my 8.1 image. W10-9879 just isn't ready for that machine yet imo.

Tower with no touch detected locks out booting to Start Screen. Used the Start Screen vs Start Menu early first build only to screw up my 8.1 Start Screen because of synching so I switched back. Took some time to straighten 8.1 back again.

Can't blame you for reverting back if it's more usable and enjoyable.

Yeah, this install messed up the start screen on the synced boxes. Moved my 'games' grouping all the way to the left side. Grr... :)

On the SP since the wireless is twitchy with this build, I just decided that it isn't worth the hassle. Fortunately I have a real nice image on my USB3 drive and Acronis only takes about 15 minutes to do a complete restore.

I'll keep the W10TP on my HP desktop, but probably not as a daily driver yet. Just try to keep up with the changes as we go forward.

What some consider trivial, I find irritating as hell. NewsgroupsRT just won't cooperate with auto-wrapping lines as I type and I spend an inordinate amount of time on usenet. I have set it to not wrap and just do the wrapping the old-fashioned way with the enter key, or at least when I remember to tap it.
