You can download the 10586 .iso via Windows Tech Bench (only one download necessary for Home/Pro versions). I downloaded the .iso the other day and installed into VM. Confirmed it is 10586.3 build.

I much prefer the Windows 8.1 Start Screen/All Apps Screen over the 10 Start Screen/Start Menu. I don't use the Start Menu all that much so I can live with it. A step backward IMHO. Really don't get why multi monitor disables Tablet mode? Why not let me decide if its usable or not? You could always just turn it off again if you didn't like it.
I have to agree with you and HippsieGippsie, 8/8.1 is a far better choice for Metro, and I also love my trackball as you do.

There is really nothing I like about Windows 10 and I have tried to appreciate it. then again I like Windows 8 over Windows 8.1, but I use Modern Mix which enables windowed metro apps.

Windows 7 truly rules them all, and the rest are just wanna-be's.

I didn't like 8.0 all that much. What they changed in 8.1 I liked. I use 10 on all my PC's. I find it much better than 8.1. I would never go back to Windows 7 now.

Smart thinking to an extent! Here I kept on going with the Insider Program as well as seeing 10 VMs set up on the 7 side of the 10/7 dual boot. on two separate machines as well as having both Home and Pro VMs activated. The next treat here while You won't need to go to Tech Bench any longer to see a 4 in 1 but simply use the new combined MC tool.exe file no longer seeing two 32bit and 64bit links the download is Windows 10 or Windows 10 N or Single Language edition being the 32bit Home only.

Presently on the 10586 64bit Pro VM activated that will be seeing an upgrade install to the same but Threshold 2 release since there is an apparent difference as the TH2 doesn't seem to like 7 keys! I suspect either the upgrade install over embedded or entering a 10 key is what it will accept. The TH2 download from MS is for both 32bit and 64bit flavors for both Home and Pro editions unless selecting the N or Single Language option.

I've never had a need to install N or KN, I don't even bother downloading them from MSDN. I can always just go get them if I need them. Haven't bothered with the 32 bit ISO's this time around either. All my PC's are running 64 bit. I'm not in IT and retired so I have simple needs these days. I did download Enterprise, I run that on my laptop. And Education. Ran that briefly on my desktop for a look see. I'm in slow down mode now. All my PC's are upgraded to 10586 now. I won't be redoing anything for a while now. Not unless I have a pressing need to test something out on real hardware.

I do use the N versions, it doubles the number of my available product keys.

I get a certain amount of Windows 10 keys from MSDN, then the same amount of product keys for Windows 10 N. Simply claim a key for an N version, use it to install and activate Windows 10 N and finally download the Media Feature Pack for N versions of Windows 10. It will convert your N version to a full version, Home N to Home, Pro N to Pro, Enterprise N to Enterprise. Notice that your Windows version will still be shown as N but in reality, the Media Feature Pack makes it a full version.

You can download the Media Feature Pack for all Windows 10 N editions here: Download Media Feature Pack for N and KN versions of Windows 10 from Official Microsoft Download Center

The KN version is then a totally another story. It's only available in Korean, meaning it is not usable for me.

I haven't used one of my Windows 10 MSDN keys yet. I did the free upgrade on my 4 home PC's. Now that you can install and activate 10 with 7 and 8 keys, I have way more keys than I'll ever use for Windows 10. I still have unused TechNet keys for 7, 8.0 and 8.1. Same deal for MSDN only it's 7, 8.0, 8.1 and 10. I'm not going to run out any time soon.

Anybody try entering a Windows 8/8.1 Media Center key during a clean install? They must be blocked, but who knows? I never thought to try one.

That's a surprise, nice one though sweet. I have 4 of those not in use.

EDIT: On a clean install or upgrade? I know it will on an upgrade, just want to confirm its accepted on clean installs, thanks.
