Today, Microsoft is launching Office Insider, an ongoing preview program for consumer Office subscribers (Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal and Office 365 University) that gives you first access to the latest innovations – putting you on the inside track for all things Office.
If you would like to participate and you already have an Office 365 Home, Personal, or University subscription, then head over to Office Insider to get started!
If you are an Office 365 business and enterprise or Office 365 Pro Plus user, you can opt-in to First Release, an Office 365 preview program for commercial subscribers that also provides the same early access to new features.

What is the Office Insider program?
The Office Insider program is an ongoing preview program for consumer Office subscribers (Office 365 Home, Office 365 Personal and Office 365 University) that gives you first access to the latest Office features and experiences – putting you on the inside track for all things Office.
How can I become an Office Insider?
- PC for home use: If you are an Office 365 Home subscriber and want to be an Office Insider, visit the Additional Install Options page of My Account and choose an Insider option from the Version drop down menu. Click Install.
- PC for business use: If you have an Office 365 business or enterprise plan, you can join First Release.
- Android users can join the Office Insider for Android community and then select the app you want to test: Word| PowerPoint| Excel.
- If you have Office Mobile you can join the Windows Insider program.

I got the email today. I'll figure out what I'm supposed to do with my business sub tomorrow.
Edit: Oh! It's even for Android now! That wasn't in my email! Now, do I want to test Word or Excel? I want to test 'em both!
Edit #2: Looks like I'm still a tester from close to a year ago. When I clicked on the links, I was told I'm already a tester. :)
