I like Edge for some things.. like this site. Is it finished.. far from it but I like the direction it's headed.

Slamming a browser that's this new is silly. Compare Edge to (Chrome,FF) when it's up to say.. version 10 or more. Keep in mind Chrome is up to v45 and FF is up to V42..
    I agree with you 100%.

I think MS would rather not add 'bells and whistles' to Edge mainly for performance and security reasons.

Actually, I like it the way it is. Simple and fast works for me.

    I really hope so.

If you want Chrome or Firefox there is always Chrome/Firefox. Nice to have an alternative not something else the same.

How come I have had none of what is in the attachment.
    I use Edge 100%
That and Bing which has improved a lot to what it was at one time.
Don't have Chrome, FF or any of the other browsers

I was getting that with IE11 and always having to restart or refresh the site or page I was on.

How come I never have any of the issues you constantly mention
I use IE 100% of the time and have no issues with it

I have no idea I always had freezes etc and crashes yet all my update where installed, my BIOS at the time was up to date, it was as if it had a bug.
Since upgrading and using Edge and Bing I have had none of the trouble at all.
Also I find it faster than when I had IE11 and windows 8.1.

Looking at your specs I see your internet speed is slow that is how mine was, used to take ages loading when it was not freezing.
Since using Bing and Edge it is now fast

Judging a browser is a subjective thing I think. Some just like a very simple stripped down browser like Edge and others like one with bells and whistles/plug ins, FF, Chrome.. IE.. etc.

Well as I have tried to explain to some when saying Edge is far from finished they take offense and get into "well Firefox and Chrome aren't finished either since they are still seeing support" while not wanting to admit Edge is still very much a beta not quite what people would be expecting. Does that mean that Edge will never be any good or simply not "Ready for Prime Time"?

I think you have about the smartest observation on this thread so far! Some mentioned sand boxing which is also a good observaion while I think you hit the nail on the head there in one shot! Being a brand new browser means starting off "Small" since it can be rather vulnerable in no time at all to all forms of exploits as IE 6.0 was about the largest security hole ever! MS apparently looked back and finally learned a lesson they didn't want to see repeated with 10 as well as with their latest browser.

Isn't Windows 10 always a beta to some level even what is released to the public? Another words it is what I call a rolling release.

No browser is finished but you're trying to compare a new browser to ones that have been around a long time. It's an apple/oranges comparison. Let's be honest here, we have no idea when Edge will get up to par with FF/Chrome but it will, IMO.,
