One question, if i downloading cz 64 bit iso i can choose in installation which edition i want?
The answer is a simple yes and no :)

No: If you previously had Home installed and activated, that PC is now automatically installed and activated as Home. No key needed for installation.

Yes: If you have product key for Pro but you had previously Home activated, you need to enter a valid Pro key when installation starts, in which case the Pro edition will be installed. Alternative way is to not use a key when installing, in which case you get Home, then when finally booted to desktop go to Settings > Update & Security > Activation and change the product key to a Pro key.

Well.. with the latest build there are new ICONS that weren't there in 10558. In addition 10558 was buggy and lots of those issues have been cleared up with 10565. That's how I know they're different.
I did not have any new Icons and that is no proof. I am going to download the ISO and take another look. @BunnyJ you are probably right, they did look similiar.

Next time, when you make a claim like that make sure you can prove it.. it's not up to me or anyone else to disprove what you claim.

Is the slow ring on 10565 too? If not, this changes again MS policy. Guys!
Build 10565 did not come through to me on the slow ring - I had to switch to fast, and then it showed up immediately. Unfortunately I have not had time to install it yet.

Just out of personal interest, this means that you really checked all code, binaries, dynamic link libraries, every single bit under the hood? Respect! That has to be one hell of a project!
Just thinking the very same thing...

He had W8.1 with BING. From what I have heard, that is a unique animal. So, does this mean MS are treating W8.1 with BING the same as W8.1Home/W10Home? Interesting....

Windows 8.1 with Bing is a totally normal core edition of Windows 8.1 only difference being the Bing integration, given free by Microsoft to OEMs to be used in low end budget computers, helping to make the low price possible. The integrated Bing supposedly compensates the lost revenues.

When it is upgraded to Windows 10 using the free upgrade option it will be treated exactly as if it was a regular Windows 8, therefore the upgraded Windows 10 will be the Home edition. Windows 8.1 Pro with Bing does not exist.

If you mean the price, it is and was never sold to consumers. It was only licensed to manufacturers to make low end budget computers (read: laptops, notebooks, tablets) possible.

No. The edition is like for like. To upgrade from Home to Pro requires spending some money.

The cheapest way to get Windows 8.1 upgraded to Windows 10 Pro is to first buy a Windows 8.1 Pro Pack or 8.1 Pro Upgrade, upgrading 8.1 to 8.1 Pro, and only then upgrade.

    Add features - Microsoft Windows
