BSOD After Update for Windows 10 Insider Preview: October 21, 2015

I got the same issue on my Surface Pro. Guess I'll just block that one.

    KB3105208 (BSOD):

Just googled, and did you guys try this: disable Secure Boot from BIOS and restart?
No, I haven't tried it. I going to leave it blocked as it made too much of a mess.
Another member checked for updates and said it was not listed, so maybe it was pulled back.

Good idea. I just tested by disabling secure boot, installed KB3105208, and restarted.

    It worked without issue.

    UPDATE:
If you enable secure boot afterwards, you'll get the BSOD again. KB3105208 doesn't like secure boot enabled on the laptop.

Thanks Shawn, I'm not gonna take a chance. Leaving it hidden.

    Another new update today:

Update Windows 10 Insider Preview October Update for x64-based Systems (KB3105208)
It broke my computer and I had to do a clean install. Almost through with it now, but half a day wasted.

I don't have a clue what happened except that one minute it was saying, "Don't turn off your computer," and the next it wouldn't boot. Thankfully I had a Jump Drive with Windows 10565 on it.

Now just to throw a curve ball into this. I just updated my RTM to the insider build(10565) and KB3105208 installed and is working just fine for me so far.

How and why I've had no issues is beyond me.. but it works.

Mine didn't BSOD, it just wouldn't boot and kept telling me I needed to repair it.

Going to Feedback and upvote one or two of 'em.

That's what I got too. Disabling secure boot took care of the issue.

I didn't have secured boot enabled so I guess that's why I didn't have any issues with that KB.
