    So you are saying that the next major service pack update next week is not going to remove the control panel then I am okay for now. I agree right now modern settings control panel is way to limited so for them to get rid of the classic control panel they have to add all the options and make them easier to navigate. Right now it is like trying to navigate a bad website. Can't find links and it keeps bringing you back to the homepage.

    A lot of replies and this is not the first thread on the subject. I would like Microsoft to keep the control panel and the settings as well. If both can run together now, why kill one off?

    Good idea, but remember that Microsoft doesn't believe in users' choice anymore.

    All we ask is DON'T remove Control Panel before all controls have migrated to the Settings app.

    They are pushing ahead with their plan like a bull in a china shop. Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead! Companies that get too full of themselves often die.

    Thank you for stating it that way. G-Mode works just fine, and anyone who wishes to get into the guts of the OS, backup, put your boots on, and dive in!
    To access God Mode on your Windows 10 Insider Preview PC, right-click (or tap and hold) any empty spot on the Desktop. Choose New > Folder. When the new folder appears, right-click (or tap and hold) on it and give it this name:
    GodMode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}
    You can use any valid Windows filename instead of GodMode -- call it Parlor Trick if you like. Works for normal windows 10 folks if you want it. beyond newb but, can impress your friends.
