    Just for information.

    1. Download time 2 hrs 18 min.
    2. Install time 24 min.
    3. Sit and do nothing time 8 min

**Sit and do nothing time is me waiting for the disk activity light and the light on the modem/router to stop.**
Windows 10 was doing something in the background even though I could use my computer I wait for it to get done what ever it was doing.

    After Updates.
    1. Windows Updates is broken =====> Fixed after running Windows Updates Trouble Shooting
    2. dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth is broken
    3. sfc /scannow never pass since 9841

Can you guys verify this or it is just me. Thanks
    For me:
    1. OK - have had one defender and KB3008956 installed automatically.
    2. OK - no errors found.
    3. Still doesn't work. I ran it 5 times in a row in previous build as you found it needed this if I remember correctly but with no luck. It has never worked for me on TP and still doesn't on 9860.

I started downloading 1 hour and 10 minutes ago and it is still downloading.
I'm watching the lights on my modem and router and they are blinking very fast so I know it's still downloading.

My ISP speed is 3.0. Does anybody have a idea how long this might take?

I'm in W-10 with a separate ssd dual boot with W-7. If my thinking is correct I'm shouldn't have to disconnect other drives to install the new preview.

    Is that correct?
Yes do disconnect other drive/s, happened to me, it broke boot menu and I had to rebuild it.

I took a chance. I left everything hooked up.
With only W-10 booted I did the complete update, or is it a upgrade without any problems other than the time It took to download.
Please note, my system is set up to auto boot into W-10 in the bios before the system looks for W-7.
It won't boot into W-7 unless I tell it to. So to my way of thinking W-10 doesn't even know that another ssd has W-7 installed in my system.
In the bois my system checks USB, DVD, Hot Swap, and then if it finds nothing that will boot it will boot the W-7 SSD. For me this is a quite handy way to boot when one tinkers.
My W-10 is in the Hot Swap.

Ah so, you choose from BIOS menu ? My default was for 8.1 on SSD, TP is on a HDD.

The way I have W-10 to boot before W-7 in bios still gives me a choice for 10 sec. in a dual boot to choose W-7 or W-10. If I don't choose one or the other in 10 sec. It will auto boot into W-10. I forget where the choice of sec. is but it can be changed. It was at 20 sec.
When I select (restart) it will do the same. Give me a choice for 10 sec. if I don't select one or the other it auto boots into W-10.

The trick is the boot order in bios.

I fixed my activation error. When I booted up this morning I noticed my Lock screen wasn't what I had set it to, so I went in to change it, and was told I couldn't until windows was activated.
I took a chance and changed my product code to what was listed on MSDN for Enterprise 64 bit. Activated a couple of seconds later and all appears fine. I have no idea why the product code was changed during the upgrade?

As I replied in your earlier post. I have never been asked for a code. My installation is automatically activated. You apparently went via a different route? The MSDN download does not require a code.

I never entered a product code until I used the change key. Like you said, it doesn't prompt for one during the install. However, after the upgrade to the new build, it showed as "not activated" and would not activate. I tried several times. On the activation screen it lists the last 5 characters of the current product code. When I compared that to what was listed on MSDN they did not match. I have no idea why the key changed during the upgrade? The ISO used for the original install was obtained from MSDN. Google searches of my error code suggested changing the key, so I gave it a try and it worked. Don't know what else to tell you?

    Hi there

I got a Windows is not activated message where the watermark is on the bottom right hand of the screen. Just type SLUI 3 in administrator mode - note space between slui and 3 and insert the standard key (Enterprise if using Enterprise or the standard build for the standard one - then it's fine).

The download when doing "update" from PC settings ==>check for new builds doesn't give any progress while it's downloading -- a bit annoying that as it would be nice to see that sort of information.

    Cheers
