This is the latest version 16.0.4266.1003 of office 16. It is the RTM version and there are no updates at this time. My apology.

From the reviews that I've seen, the new Kingston Office (now know as WPS Office 10) is the office-alternative version that is MOST compatible with MS Office. You should take a look at that.
    Hi there
I've long posted on that -- the Free version is as far as I can see absolutely 100% compatible with EXCEL / Word / Powerpoint provided you don't need VBA macros. The paid version (only between 50 - 80 USD supports VBA macros which I'm tempted to try out). The Free version seems quite good even with complex formulae and charts.

There's a great Free LINUX version too. Also the Android version (Free) is fine for tablets / phones.

Note though there's no Email client so no OUTLOOK equivalent.

Download Office Free and Office Professional from Kingsoft Office Download Center

    Cheers

Thunderbird doesn't currently support EAS; I don't know if Mozilla plan to add it in at some point ( ? ) An alternative that does support EAS is eM Client. Thunderbird works nicely for POP and IMAP accounts though, and now has the Lightning calendar extension.

OK, thanks. I just finished up with the Technical Preview and I'm only on 16.0.4229.1004, which seems to be way, way, way behind you, which does not compute!

BTW, are you using Home or ProPlus? Which shouldn't make a difference, but I'm on ProPlus.

Heading out to see what's what with this, because sumpin' ain't right!
