This says "Patience" in Chinese. I had a nice 8X10 painted of it when at a Artists Market when in Seoul, Korea.
and I will attach a copy for you. Best to you. Cliff M.

    Attachment 40708

I hope that will work for you...

Thank you so much my friend!!! I'll keep it for my collection. But in English it's more likely to "Endure" back to Chinese culture. By the way, Chinese is my first language though. It does means "Patience" too.

For the record, the 10547 problem with Rufus (which appears to be a pure Microsoft screw up with their inside builds - if you If you look at the Feedback reports for "Hardware, Devices and Drivers" → "USB devices and connectivity", you'll see a flurry of reports from people stating that they can no longer use "Safely eject USB" due to always getting "media is in use", which is consistent with Microsoft having introduced an imbalance in their USB device locks, which they will need to fix in a future build) has been reported in the official Rufus issue tracker HERE.

I'll take this opportunity to remind everyone to PLEASE use the Rufus issue tracker if you experience a problem with Rufus, as this is the only official way to get them looked into.

In this case, it looks like we may have to wait for a future build (or an update) for Microsoft to fix this generic locking issue they have introduced with USB devices. I don't think I should have to remind everyone that insider builds, especially if you are on the fast track, can and do contain bugs, and may break applications.

Thank you, Akeo. Sorry I didn't know about the issue tracker.

I've enjoyed Rufus for quite awhile now and don't want to make your job harder.

No worries Wynona - I'm glad you alerted me to this thread, so that I could add my 2 cents... :)

One thing I should also mention is that I've been seeing the issue on an on/off basis with 10547, in a manner that makes me wonder if it's not linked to Windows Defender, as the latest update(s), that were for Defender, seem to have somehow reduced the frequency at which the problem occurs. Maybe Defender is the application locking the drive?

Oh, and as mentioned on the Rufus issue, you may also see a similar problem if you use diskpart and try to issue a clean on your USB device, which confirms that this is a pure Microsoft issue...

As an FYI, I went to the Rufus site hoping to find Rufus 2.3; however, I found the email (send an email) addy instead. So, I lined out the problem, told Akeo about the issue we're having and gave him the URL to this thread. I wish I'd looked further and found the Issue Tracker!

I very much appreciate his prompt response and explanation of the problem. He even sent me an email explaining what went wrong.

For my money, Akeo went above and beyond . . . Kudos, Akeo!

It may not make a USB device ISO for 10547, albeit it does for 10240. Just did one for 10240 (RTM) without any problem. Then used it to run RTM in a VMWare VM. . .worked without a fault. . .:). . .just my 3 cents. . .

Count, I tried formatting several times to no avail on 10547! No matter what I did, it just wouldn't work.

All of my stuff is 64 bit.

That's for RTM (10240) they are attempting to make a USB stick for 10547 for clean install while in 10547 insider build. . .:)
