I can't seem to find Install.esd after update was finished, all I found was WindowsOld.wim file
does that mean my chance of making an ISO of 10547 is gone?
    Install.esd is here C:\$Windows.~WS\Sources\Windows\sources

FWIW the way I get it now the Windows 10 Insider test builds no longer leave an intact ESD image on your C Drive after the update installs only the older build in the Windows ( OLD ) file folders .

Presumably you would have to copy the new download * before * installing the update ( new test build )

**On the test builds ....You may have to interrupt the update /install process to copy the Win .bt file or whatever before the install begins according to one of the tutorials linked above . ☻
    I see
I will give windows reset option a try and see if the crashes are gone
again thank you everyone for all your help.

10547 killed the AVG free edition I was using. AVG kept failing when it tried to update. I uninstalled it and tried to re-install, but no go. So I guess it's Windows Defender for a while.
So why does Microsoft keep on killing our third party apps such as "AVG free" and in my case both "AVG free" and "Malwarebytes Premium" ?

Maybe because you are using build 10130 the RTM is 10240 and the IP build is 10547.

    Not for me, it isn't. I don't even have a C:\$Windows.~WS\. I only have C:\$Windows~BT.

    Mine's in C:\$Windows.~BT\Sources\install.esd.

The C:\$Windows.~WS\ is a hidden folder.

Well, I guess there were reasons that AVG free doesn't work well with 10547:
    1. They hate each other. MS simply make a upgrade to enforce AVG free to not working. or,
    2. They cooperate with each other. So that AVG free user need to purchase the premium version.

Malware control. IMO, if you are an above average windows user, you don't really need a real-time control of the Malwares. It takes additional memory from your system and slowing down you system's efficiency. Malware comes mostly when people visit the bad site or download unconfirmed programs. With free version of Malwarebytes, scan once a week should work.

I have "Show Hidden Files and Folders" ticked in File Explorer Options, so why can't I see it, Dude?
