Are there any oficial ISOs of the 10547? Cause I still can0t get the update.
That update is for Windows Defender, have you tried opening Defender and requesting an update from there?

That may be what's blocking your route to the newer builds..

There was an update for WD this morning and nothing else.

Is that that update that keeps failing on both my systems? KB2267602. Defender itself says it's all up-to-date, but it gets to "preparing to install updates (0%)..." and then quickly reverts back to "checking for updates..." and says "your device is up to date".

That process sounds right. Are you seeing indications in your update history that it's failing? KB2267602 is the current Defender definition update. It has installed successfully on my build 10547 many times, but the actual definition has been different each time. So repeated installations of that KB number update doesn't necessarily mean it's failing.

Huh, you're right, there have been four updates with the same KB number [over the last two days] but only the first two had the same definition. I guess I can cross that off as the reason I'm still not receiving anything past 10240.

Edit: forgot to finish my thought.

You must not keep your computer turned on much. That Defender definition update has successfully installed on mine 43 times since September 18. But I do regularly check for updates in hope of a new Insider Preview build.

Sorry, didn't finish my thought. I meant to say, "Four updates between yesterday and today." But, you're correct. I turn off my desktop and leave my laptop in sleep mode when I'm not using them. Having an SSD means startup speed on the desktop is about the equivalent of taking my laptop out of sleep.

Could we have no more threads starting "Announcing Windows 10..."

In the "SUB-FORUMS: WINDOWS 10 FORUMS" (Windows 10 Forums - Windows 10 Forums) page, all anyone can see is the beginning of the line: "Announcing Windows 10..." which gets my hopes up that there might be something new, when there is no new announcement.

Please let's start with "PC Build 10566 Announced " or something similarly informative. "Windows 10" is totally redundant in such announcements - what else could it be?
