When copying the WinRe.wim to C:\windows\system32\recovery what about the Reagent.xml file and its contents?
Theres no mention of this file, how it gets used or its contents on how or what configures these values i.e. the offset etc?
Moreover, the recovery partition also has a copy or variation of this xml file.
The 2 files are there
1. boot.sdi
2. winre.wim
why is there a merged_partition content ? What did you do?
Wait for 5 minutes. I check a plan
Edit:
#239 says that is disk 1 now! What happend?
@Pentagon - I assume you copy the "fresh" reagent.xml" from the install disk (I haven't looked) where the Winre.wim was copied
from to c:\windows\system32\recovery . My reagentc /info says I'm already disabled although info it contains is missing due to a bad configuration to the recovery partition which I'm trying to fix along with fixing it for this KB #.
