Looking at the chart I see that windows 7 and 8.1 users were the only ones that switched (not many XP users did but I hope they do because XP is one buggy OS).

I work at a fairly large company, I work at Wal Mart. We are still running Windows XP on about 200,000 networked PCs. We are beginning to make the transition to Windows 7, and now we have about 6,000 networked PCs on Windows 7. The transition started last year, so by 2017 all of our PCs should be running Windows 7.

Well those numbers haven't really been affected by people buying new PC's. Looking at Dell they still have systems for sale with Windows 8.1 with a free upgrade to Windows 10 or systems with Windows 10 already installed. I have one machine that says Nvidia isn't supporting Windows 10 with my Nvidia Geforce GO 7600 so it won't upgrade. When I first ran the MS reserve Windows 10 program it said everything was compatible. Now it shows the Nvidia card is incompatible and has a link to buy a new pc.

I think it's still too early to judge the adoption of Windows 10. Let's wait another 6 months and bet the numbers will be completely different.

I'm surprised the MAC numbers are so low. Half my relatives are Apple fans. Perhaps pricey MAC machines are only popular in USA.
