I don't use Edge for several reasons. First is telemetry, it collects your movements and searches and sends that information back to MS. That's one reason there are no extensions. Second, it's not very easy to change it's default download location. I always change it to the Desktop just for convenience. The last thing, there is no easy way to place website shortcut on the desktop.

I don't use edge. Not because it's bad, not because it's from Microsoft. I use Chrome because I can have the same experience and shared bookmarks and history on my PC, my Mac, my Android phone, my linux boxes, etc.

Regarding EDGE, has anyone found a way (or an add-on) that allows you to hold down the left navigation arrow, see a list of recently visited pages, and click on the desired page to go directly to it?

The most consistently frustrating thing with using Edge is getting "trapped" in a webpage that has some kind of ad-doubleclick, or other trap, and not being able to back out of it.

With IE-11, I would just put certain websites into the security "Restricted Zone", which blocked most of that crap. Edge is nothing more than a dumbed-down Internet Explorer, IMO. But it's still early in the browser's life. Hopefully it will mature in short order. It's certainly FASTER than IE...when it works properly.

Not sure I would know what a finished browser would look like ,,,it been years since I stopped using Firefox as my main browser ,I just didn't like the way it was starting to look , I only use my computer for internet and storing file and stuff ,like connecting to my Raspberry Pi ,creating bootable thumb drives of windows iso and such ,not much else so I like the way IE allows me to setup my favorites and stuff like multiple home pages ,, just what one gets use to I guess ,, I'm starting to play with edge a bit more and figuring how to use favorites and multiple home pages, so I guess I could really be using just about any browser ,,so I use the one I like best
I am using Firefox 41 RC 1 now and it looks just like Firefox 4. Mozilla is doing it's best to ruin it though.

I love IE11 more than Edge

With Edge no way i can start it double or triple as i could do with IE11.
On the desktop using apps is more a halt to start more instants of an application.
I don't like it, same with calculator app, photo app etc.
They should not be used default on desktop.

The article says that it's 2% of "the market," not 2% of Windows 10 users. That's a huge difference.

Might want to correct that, OP.
Well since Edge is only available on Windows 10, and no other platform, that pretty much says only 2% of Windows 10 users.

So, I suspect the report is accurate.

I don't find Edge too bad, t's just that there's still no extensions and adblock is pretty much essential.
