Not really because only Windows 10 users can use Edge. So if it's 2% of all Windows users there are way more people using it. Also if 2% of the market translates to over 30% of Windows 10 users because they are the only ones that can use Edge.
Since Edge is installed by default and set up as the default browser in Win10, I would be very surprised if less than 90% of the Win10 users utilize Edge. It's a pain to disable it and to re-add IE as the default browser -- not something as easy as picking from a list of (default) browsers when you (1) do the Win10 Upgrade, or (2) first login to Win10.

I don't use Edge because I'm not obsessed with the Metro UI. I'd rather use a traditional UI Browser that works well (IE 11) than struggle along with a Metro UI browser that has problems.

Not that hard to change defaults. MS products and installed apps will still use Edge, but everything else will use your default browser. In my case, Chrome.

I've just checked the TF site stats.

    Chrome 60%
    Firefox 16%
    IE 8%
    Safari 6%
    Edge 4%
    Opera 1%
    Others
I'd like to see those statistics next to the OS.. how many of those are actually on Windows 10?

That's not true. I have Google Chrome set as my default browser and every feature of my system, including Outlook, defaults to Google Chrome when ever I click on a web link.

Guess I'm one of the few using Edge. But then again, I'm an insider so I should be.

I've been using Edge since the beginning and I particularly like the slimmed down version. I do thinks some things are missing that will make it even more useful, but that takes time. I hope they add some things, but I'm not crazy about wanting a million add-ons and add-ins, etc.

Of course like everything MS does, they seem to be short on how things work till someone else furnishes a book or how to guide.

Edge would be OK if it had some sort of extensions. It is fast but God only knows what it is using as it is built in to Windows 10. I am surprised The EU has not sued them yet.
