Why have I just been told to reboot to install this update when it's a preview?
Aren't previews supposed to be optional?
I'm not happy on principle with installing previews, I would rather wait until the actual release version.

All .NET previews show up in WU and are not optional. That is why I pause all updates until the Monthly updates.
MS has done this for years and it is a pita.

I just don't understand why they label the updates as 'previews' if they're going to be forcibly rolled out.
The 'previews' of the cumulative OS security updates seem to always be optional, so why not the .NET updates?
That makes no sense!
