Will this one work from MG's: Download VMware Player - MajorGeeks

    Is there something else ?
These 2 links should help you out

    VirtualBox - Install Windows 8
At step 15 you would select the Windows 10 ISO (not Windows 8)

Then stop at Step 17 and follow the below

This should cover VMware Bob, I did the 32 bit earlier and it went like a breeze.

Bare-metal install. 4-monitors is a breeze to setup.

First attempt on VirtualBox,went smooth, one should boot from the actual downloaded iso,not mounting it.
    Looks modern,refreshed,definetely 8ish!

Nope, won't install on my desktop PC. Same thing happened with my MSDN ISO. When I boot from the thumb drive all I get is a black screen with a flashing cursor. Waited a good 5 min this time before bailing out. The same thumb drive boots up into setup just fine on my laptop though? I made the thumb drive with the Windows 7 USB DVD download tool. My ASUS laptop is fine with doing a UEFI install with an NTFS formatted drive. My Acer laptop isn't though so I usually use Rufus for it. Looks like I'm going to do my install on my laptop. It would have been more fun on my desktop PC as it has three monitors.

EDIT: Installed fine on my laptop.

Why don't you try the DVD way?

DVD is a lot simpler to make (but longer a little bit). I made both DVD (with Image Burn) and USB (with Rufus). Both works perfectly.

First install on my laptop using VMware player went without a hitch but creating a bootable USB using rufus took several attempts & configurations before it would actually boot. I missed the fact that the USB should be formatted NTFS for non UEFI & Fat32 for UEFI until I read Shawns Tut.

After successfully creating the bootable USB Windows 10 is happily running on my main rig listed in my system specs and all drivers except GFX & Logitech were installed out of the box negating the need to install any original drivers that came with the mobo.

I have W10 installed on my laptop works better than W8. The only peculiarity that I have found is the auto hide taskbar will not unhide with the mouse pointer in the start button, search and task view area.

    Insider Program is now Live-untitled.jpg

    Liking it!!

EDIT: Till now, it is better than Windows 8.1. :) It has an almost known start menu and the apps have the right corner buttons. Hope there will be better themes and color schemes in the next builds!
