Just get into Release preview channel and get done with it... I like how fast they provide updates it's been issue free experience for me for almost a year.... still I do full image backup just in case
Provide fast updates with God knows what's in them ........

Key phrase you used is "full image backup just in case". Many don't know what that means or do that.

Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect'

And for those who have never seen this:
There are only a few reasons to install Windows 10 update previews - gHacks Tech News''

As they say "please don't shoot the messenger" if any of this is news to you. But if you do choose to shoot me, I'll try to take that as a karmic message.

Steve, apparently with this update you can program your toaster to bake your Pop Tarts at twice the speed. Unfortunately it will affect your internet surfing speeds.

And yes best to create an image before you start cooking.

Yet sheep flock to installing these unknown updates at warp speed. I feel sorry for the uneducated, as you probably do. Cheers, mate, eh? I have to wonder who here owns how much M$ stock shares at times - do you?

No, no shares. I'm a bit like you I take out a bowl of popcorn and watch how many try to install without having a clue as to what MIGHT happen.

Yet I rarely see anyone try to warn them, thus my apparently stupid question.

No issues here - as flawless as usual!
BTW it dowloaded and installed itself, all I did was reboot!

I am seeing a ~20% reduction in random 4K I/O throughput, and across mutiple W10 devices, with this build - something is broken!?

Both NVMe and SATA devices are showing a performace drop!
