Well I'm going to Widows 9 a roll in the hay. I also would want a retail version. I would install it on a nice new already bought Intel SSD. If the price is right I will get two of them.

Well I am still none the wiser from looking around at the stuff being put out on 9 and indeed the 8.2 for example.
Now I have two machines running 8.1 and while they are in my mind faster I always run them 7 style. What I don't want is anything that looks like 8 or any of the possible variants but I would like the speed.
As for gaming I always have problems trying out games which for one example - Sniper is so convoluted or maybe I am just a bit too thick to grasp what the heck is going on so I cannot comment on the gaming prowess of 7 on my Ivy Bridge which I am running 7 right now because of my difficulty in getting the hang of gaming.
The other issue is how much is 9 likely to cost? can't find anything along those lines but again I might be a tad slow on the uptake.
Now the other thing I also noticed is posting here the speckie spell check works very much along the lines that the 8 machines do in that it puts the spelling into block whereas the 7 I can use a pointer to get the correct spellings and again is it going to be like 8? If so and it keeps the stupid (in my mind) changes to the Control Panel features like File history instead of a plain no nonsense Back up and restore then it is going to be disappointing.
