I had trouble with the install of 21318, reverts, GSD's and failure of restarting, but eventually installed. Now with 21322, the same thing is happening. On the 4th retry, downloads, starts install and then GSD then "It looks like Windows didn't load correctly". Did the repair, advanced settings etc and now on last try. Never had any such problems before until 21318?? Computer remains on 21318

UPDATE New message "Windows insider program ran into a problem and needs to restart" more GSD's. This is happening immediately after sign in.

Looking @ C:>Windows>Servicing> I no longer have an "LCU" folder. If that matters??

I just did a [RESET] and back to 21318, trying another download

UPDATE : (next day) Last resort, restored an image from December 20, update to 21322 underway

UPDATE: Restored and direct update to 21322. Multiple GSOD's at random times, even if I just leave it on without any interaction, I hear the "beep" and it is GSOD and restarting. Same error "Windows insider program ran into a problem and needs to restart". Only one drive in the system at a time, original and then did the restored version on a separate SSD and used it by itself. Same problems both SSD's after 21322 installed separately. SFC test shows no errors. Perplexing for me.

Despite being on same machine (just separate SSDs), same graphics and other drivers wit same settings, I'm still getting video performance problems, 2D somewhat lower scores and dismal performance with 3D, specially with DirectX 11. I even downloaded and did clean install of last build and it's same.

Getting now and hoping this one will cure the network problems my computers are having.
You mean the network going out?
Anyone else been having problems with their network adapter being stuck on "Identifying..." since 21313? : windowsinsiders

If so, this build won't help. Has anyone else been seeing that issue in recent builds? I'm not, but more than a few are.

Hi Guys, new here. The past two builds inlc this one I have as strange issue. Only a black screen for an hour or so. No sign of any update progress and suddenly it shows at +70%.

I know there is a known issue with the update process hanging, but couldn't find anything about this black screen issue.

    Hi folks
Query applies not just to this build but all these types of preview builds in general.

Do they contain debugging / other diagnostic stuff which is probably great for Ms to work out any defects or unexpected results with these builds - but I get the impression they are all extremely "Laggy" compared with basic standard build.

I've got a few of these running as VM's - but by far and away the best running Windows type OS is a version of Windows 2K19 server that I got from work and "re-jigged" it to run as a desktop -- seems to me that Windows servers really are "Mean and Lean".

I've ensured all VM's are on fast SSD's, have proper memory allocation, use IOMMU/VFIO for passthru of hardware when possible etc etc. W2K19 is absolute clear winner -- it's not that the W10 machines are poor performers - they just seem slow compared with what I can actually get from W2K19 server. !! Even boot (all UEFI boots) is far quicker on W2K19 - and servers really aren't meant to be booted very often anyway !!!

Anybody else notice any difference between standard version of W10 and these insider builds as regard performance whether on a VM or not -- I believe @CountMike has already commented on 2D performance.

Perhaps the 1809 versions of Windows were superior who knows !!!!!!!! The screenshot shows server version is 1809.

Strange Update this one....after half hour of moving sideway dots, nothing offered.
Restarting computer brought up spinning dots with what appeared to be changes made.
Tried then to Update which offered this flight.
After successful install, installed NET Updates.

Sorry to be a pain again but could you check Defender's protection history and see if you have the Filters tab there. Assuming this is the PC you ran Bitdefender for a while. Thanks muchly.
