I hope this build is worth it. I started downloading around 5:00 o'clock and I'm only up to 84%.
Thank you, magilla and Wynona, for your insight when it comes to Office 2013, and Office in general. Tomorrow I will try to install Office 2013 on my main OS and see how it will work this time. I do not mind so much that it keeps all the programs under one folder but to type the first letter of the program or even to type its name partially or fully in the Start Menu and to not find it, well, I don't like this because it gives the feeling that it is not installed correctly, or something.
Anyway, I will finally have to use it the way it works because I own Office 2013 whereas Office 2016, that I am currently using, is just a Technical Preview with an expiration date.
Thank you! :)
PS: I really like the new Insider section of the forum!
I have been an insider for almost a year, updated (upgraded?) every build on two machines. For about the last six months, my Ultrabook system has had the same startup problem, no internet. This machine, Lenovo Ideapad Yoga 13, top-of the line, I7, SSD, max memory, when I bought it ~1 1/2 years ago, is totally reliant on Wi-Fi for internet, and worked flawlessly until Win10 pushed a new driver for the Realtec RTL8723 adapter. The network troubleshooter didn't fix it, but I found that I could usually get online by disconnecting the Wi-Fi, and then quickly reconnecting, which worked usually after running a network check. Of course, I reported this on feedback every build, hoping each new one would fix it. (I previously had a similar problem with my audio and found a working driver on the Lenovo site, but nothing for the network adapter.) Finally came the RTM and no fix, so I started digging deeper, and with a lot of help from these forums, found a working driver, and plugged it in. Yes, I did follow the advice to change the settings to prohibit overwriting drivers by Updates, but this latest build pushed the same old (newer dated) driver; again no internet. I know how to fix it now, and did, but I can't help wondering how many other similar problems are out there, and when, or if, MS can figure out how to test new drivers before they overwrite older ones that are working.
Got this "• th2_release Professional 10525 - Error 0x80240031" after download 100%. Tried downloading again with same result. Can't find any info on the web about what the problem is. Anyone have a suggestion?
Thanks
If you have a Sony Vaio computer, Sony recently advised not to install 10 at this time because of drivers. If this does not apply, check out this link:

I know above pertains to 8.1 but may have clues. I would make sure all updates are installed including optional (to be on safe side)
Wish I stayed on my RTM now as this build is making Kaspersky Total Security 2016 eat up over 50% of my RAM...
