Windows 10 Adoption Already Slowing Down

As much as I like Win X, I had to revert to Win 7 due to privacy issues. Also, this forum and Win 7 forum has been helpful is getting rid of the telemetry windows updates. Wanted to extend a note of thanks!

If Win 10 made it easier to uninstall apps that people wanted to get rid of it would be a lot less aggravating and more accepting imo . The " we will allow you to simply uninstall some app's but gray others out" is unacceptable .
Nobody should have to copy and paste special codes and deal with powershell to remove app's they don't want .
Thats a monumental mistake and i have been hearing about the outrage from a lot of relatives and family members.

What is the most appropriate venue for passing complaints like this to Microsoft? I'm sure ignore most complaints posted in most venues ... if they see the complaints at all. This one deserves to be heard.

I do like it... and it is better than 8.1, but I am getting annoyed with forced updates and having to uninstall and reinstall them because they released a bugged update (which they've been doing a lot recently...) that my computer downloads and installs.
Oh, and the alphabetical mess with the program list.
But, other than that, I'm content. I just upvote feedback for now and hope they listen to it...

I hope so , i actually believe this forum is filled with Microsoft people and they do regularly read the complaints , i have been on Microsoft's site many times and have been involved but rarely get a response .

Just to contradict these sorts of statements -- I also know plenty of people who LIKE W10 and are sticking with it.
Arguments like these really carry no decent scientific validity -- some will like the OS others won't.
The only thing we CAN say with 100% certainty -- is that Ms have obviously "Re-invented" the desktop OS again (not that I ever thought it would go away)
--smart phones etc are BRILLIANT in what they can do - but as a 100% replacement for a "Proper" computer --No way.
I'm quite sure if people were to look at some of my OLD Posts on W7 / W8 Forums -- I expressed many times that "Tablet Mania" etc would never replace the Desktop / Laptop - and I think I'm being proved correct. I was really ridiculed at the time as being an old Dinosaur as the future of computing was with "Mobile" devices.
Well things are turning out a bit differently -- Mobile devices AND desktops can (and are doing so much better than people forecast a few years ago) co-exist.
Interesting also how my HATED consultancy firm "Gartner" has totally been proved WRONG -- again (just have a look at some old posts of mine on W7 / W8 Forums) , Almost NOTHING heard from them now for at least 6 months !!! -- nobody will miss them anyway.

I've installed on 5 PC's and continue to use I have no problems at all with Windows 10 and I encourage others to upgrade. But I'm assuming that people going back is a minority or that story would be reported. I'm seeing articles about 75 million installs after the first month over article about people moving back to the upgraded OS.

You know, they have these nice privacy FAQ's, but the fact is they're collecting a lot of information. What happens when the Feds come knocking at their door, saying we need to see some of this stuff. They'll cave - they always have, and they always will. It's just phoning home too much for me.
They better have a warrant in hand.

You should of added that your not going to see figures of people who reject Win 10 for a long time to come , wasn't it just released in late July , most who upgraded to try it out are just now making decisions about it since they had 30 days at that time.
There is a ton of people who admit they are going to wait to see what changes are going to happen and what bugs people are having to work out , if any , before they make a decision.

Complaining directly to Microsoft directly is probably quite frustrating and waiting on a direct response from them is even more remote. I have read through many posting on this site and I am quite convinced that there are many individuals who are 'above the cut' who would be willing to help if asked.

There are also those with multiple PCs that have upgraded one to see what Win10 is like but have no intention of upgrading the rest for a while.
And let's not forget that we (and Microsoft) have absolutely no idea how most Win10 users have reacted. Most are not on this (or any other) forum, and most do not provide feedback to Microsoft.
