    Hi there
Can´t say this ever bothered me before --I'd hardly flag it as a defect. !! As @CountMike says I think it's been like this for many builds back.

After installing this new flight, the Microsoft Store, Photos, News apps can't be opened. There is a ? in the bottom right corner of the app icon. Anyone met with the same issue? How to resolve? Thanks!

can't help you with those as I never use that stuff - I'm sure others will though.

Honestly I have no idea, in the last few builds because this update kept coming back I would just pause my updates... I would just resume them once a week when a new build was available and Yes I would see the .net update with the new build... once downloaded and installed I would pause my updates again because the .net update keeps coming back, this time around was the same but I didn’t pause my updates and their was no .net update to do but yet I see it as installed in view windows updates via control panel, programs and features.
    I hear you!
Having the same feelings because I have to modify .Net scheduled task every time it updates and it is kind of annoying.

Hello #WindowsInsiders, we have released Build 20211.1005 (KB4581021) to the Dev Channel. This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline. ^BLB

Interesting..."Windows Update" > "Error encountered" > (0x80070002). This update failed on two successive tries.

I'm getting the same error on the Surface Pro X with ARM64, but it installed fine on the 64-bit desktop and laptop.
