All check for firmware updates and install them if there are any.
I have it installed and run it once in a while. Never leave it running.
Exactly 'sgage' - the screenshot Bob posted was exactly the SanDisk software i run (SanDisk is owned by Western Digital) I would recommend unpacking 'enable Window TRIM' as that is the culprit to the bug that doesn't recognise when TRIM was last run. Instead, pick a day of the week you want to run TRIM, open up the dashboard software & run it manually. Mind you, it would be interesting to see if keeping run the Windows TRIM checked would both remember last time run or, if it doesn't, will it run everyday without you knowing it does - not good for the SSD obviously!

I have mulled over and analyzed every reasonable definition of "near term", given all benefits of the doubt, and even consulted the OED, and still arrive at "when they are ready". Maybe.
Oh oops. I don't know what "servicing cadence primer" means, but I guess it's soon.
