Well crap. First Superfish, then overriding Windows Update, and now this. I've always had an eye on the X1 Carbon or Yoga or whatever but I no longer have any trust in the company.
Dell's still good, right?

Ha! My H530 is not on the list. So far all the a stuff Lenovo adds hasn't been on my PC.(Just got luck I guess). but there are problems with all PC manufacturers, no matter where they're from. For example Sony is telling it's users to wait:
DO NOT UPGRADE YET.
To ensure your VAIO PC works with Windows 10, it is strongly recommended that you wait to upgrade your PC until the drivers are ready.Source Now that would bite if I had a Sony.We are testing supported models and will be providing the results as quickly as possible. We plan to release Windows 10 upgrade information and, for Windows 8 and 8.1 models, drivers, applications and detailed information on the schedule below based on the operating system originally installed on the PC.
They are also the biggest leaks of builds and other things!
Time for Ms to enforce ms signature pcs and kill oem bloatware for good.
It's the M$ who implemented the BIOS based backdoor so others can exploit it.Time for Ms to enforce ms signature pcs and kill oem bloatware for good.
Source : Lenovo is now using rootkit-like techniques to install their software on CLEAN W... | Hacker NewsWindows 8 introduced an "official" way to do this called "Windows Platform Binary Table". Every time Windows boots, it checks your ACPI table for an entry called "WPBT", writes that to disk as "wpbbin.exe", and executes it. There does not seem to be any way to disable this behavior in Windows. Truecrypt would not help in this case because it happens after boot.
The one who made the gun and the one who used the gun are both equally responsible !.
