    Hi,
Yeah guess it's a insider build or something I mounted a iso made by media creation tool.
I have no third party interface apps just plain win-10
Did kill all apps except store with Shawn's reg file...
Minimalist for sure I don't need all the oversized app icons I have everything on desktop so just apps list is needed.

Well, something you have changed or removed must have allowed the Search to take the place of the All apps list on your Start in 2004. This seems to be unique to your configuration, all others including myself have reported that Start remains the same as they had it configured in 1909 after the upgrade. That does make it very difficult to diagnose though

An added factor may be that the RTM version of 2004 as released by MS on 27 May appears to still be configured as an Insider build. This was spotted by CliffS here.

    An interesting find.
On all my PC's that were updated using an ISO created with MCT, show up in AIDA64 as Insider Preview builds

    Attachment 282001

...and subsequently confirmed on my 2004 Home that was updated by clicking the optional 'Download and install now' in Windows Update.

So my advice would be not to try 2004 again until for at least a couple of months, maybe longer - and definitely not until it has been offered to you in Windows Update.

    Hi,
    Nothing to diagnose 1909 restored
Only thing might be an issue is this is a z490 & 10900k system.

    Curious.

How many people have still not been offered the 2004 feature update?
Out of my 5 systems, only one was offered and successfully upgraded.

Microsoft is holding back until some issue are addressed, from what I see.

    TIA

I still haven't been offered it. I am assuming it's the issue with Intel HD 630 graphics that's holding me up. For other folks it seems to be Realtek Bluetooth. But who honestly knows? Maybe something will happen tomorrow - Patch Tuesday...

My 6 year old Surface Pro 3 lappy got it and installed. My desktop i7-7700k, HD630, and Bluetooth has not.

Like Sgage said, no way of telling what the thorn is. Also, no way of knowing if it's an Intel fix, or an MS fix or combo.

This Compatibility Hold for virtually all issues with 2004 is one of the hardest to swallow simply because there is zero information coming from Redmond. Zero.

That's far superior to Windows pitiful excuse for a menu, IMO.

Still no update offered here to my desktop. I'm not aware of any issues blocking me.
