Does anyone know if there has been a fix issued for this
Issue with older drivers for Nvidia display adapters (GPU)
Yes. The list of known problems on page 1 of this thread shows that the old nVidia problem was Mitigated externally on July 31.
That means nVidia has released drivers for old devices that should work with v2004.
But it is always best to check for those new drivers for your graphics card beforehand.

According to your link it does affect all old NVIDIA drivers.
The affected drivers are any version lower than 358.00.

I have a computer with a GTX560 with driver 391.35. It has Windows 10 2004. That explains why I have not had a problem with it.

I have another computer with a GTS250 with driver 342.01. It has Windows 10 1909. It will stay that way until the driver issue is resolved.

Any stuff that wasn't in the preview is likely to be security related so I don't think so.

Who knows? They'll have to acknowledge it as an issue first though....

...I do know that until it's fixed none of my machines with SSDs are going to get updated to 2004.
