Also noticed my folder-settings are much better saved , once set remains set ( icons , list , etc.)
In previous 1909 had to set them again and again .............
Only a few minor things ; annoying ESENT id=642 ( eventviewer) , optimizing HDD/SSD does not work ( all HDDs/SSDs are " never optimized" , after every reboot) , missing Edge-icon in contextmenus , etc.
Still not worth to roll back to 1909 however.........

Retaining the folder settings (icons, list, etc) has been an issue for a long time.
The only way that seems to properly fix it is to use the registry fix...

I've been using this fix after every major update to Windows 10 to fix the issue.

Dang tomcat you're really on a rage about this. I don't think I've seen you so upset

That said, as you know, I'm not really thrilled either. Still....

Strange, I have an Acer Aspire TC-885 Desktop, 8th Gen Intel Core i5-8400, 8GB DDR4 + 16GB Optane Memory, 1TB HDD. Due to my impatience, I installed Version 2004 using Windows Update Assistant on June 2, and have had no problems. (Knock on wood)
This was in reply to post regarding Neowin's article about Optane Memory, The Windows 10 May 2020 Update apparently breaks Intel Optane Memory - Neowin

Investigating this further, maybe my pc is ok because it is below 32GB Optane memory. Optane Storage Managment indicates you need 32GB Optane Storage or greater to pin - per attached screenshot. Guess I'm lucky in my ignorance...no pinning errors since pinning is not required or available.

My PC seems to be running fine, minus the Optimize drive issues and maybe some Esent errors that i've been ignoring, but also discovered in regedit this

Should i download a new ISO when Nvidia 2.7 drivers release, and redo the install one more time? or B just wait for Windows to update and see if corrects the issue

    It's a trap.

    No right answer only opinions.

    I'd wait.

Of course if you have time on your hands re-install.

I say wait as there is no doubt fixes in the pipe.

Having an ISO is certainly good thing to have, could be used to fix or renew system files. Since you already run 2004, all you need is to install new drivers when they appear.

Good, isn't it? After using it for a while it becomes your first choice should you run into problems, such as an app install that went wrong or turned out to be a bad choice. So much more reliable (and faster) than using Restore Points.

My machine that got the 2004 update stills has no ESENT errors though, so I've not needed to use Macrium this time.
No Esent errors for me also.
