I've noticed that when I connect to NordVPN , my VPN the normal Ethernet icon in the system tray changes to a Globe. Also when I click on the Status it says 'Public Network'. Just wondering if that is for everyone using a VPN?

There is something not right with it. Mine swapped from private to public 43% into the download of the update. Switched it back and it's been ok ever since. I'm not using a VPN but am running in a VM.

After a reboot (not restart), it's back to normal using VPN and showing as Ethernet Private Network...weird

The Release Preview ring below has a 1909 version available for some as part of A/B testing.

I was on v1903 Build 18362.10022 or something but opted into the Slow ring when I noticed that this build was preparing to install. I checked as I didn't recognise the 19013 build and found out only then that it was a pre-release of next Spring's 20H1 build.

I immediately switched to the Pre-Release ring, paused Windows Update then ran Disk Clean-up to uninstall it then resumed Windows Update at which point v1909 started to download.

Phew! Didn't realise that I'd opted into the next build. I thought the Slow ring would eventually download the final build of v1909. Must be more careful in future!
