Just a quick note. We deployed a new build 78.0.268.3 to the Dev channel for Windows only. This corrects an issue with our digital signature that prevented Microsoft Edge from working on Windows 10 S and caused some people to see an "unverified publisher" or similar message.

I have been using this for a few weeks now, I quite like it. It seems quicker to load pages than Chrome which was my go to for years.

Had to back away from Edge Beta. Sites are slow to load and sometimes it flashes a screen that there is no internet then loads the page. Back on Firefox for now and all is fine, but will check Edge Beta from time to time.

I got this reply from MS a few days ago.

I will give Edge Beta another try after the next update. I have 77.0.235.25 which had this problem.

Have read all 9 pages of this post and also done some googling, but cannot find out if downloading the new Edge automatically uninstalls or disables the 'normal' old Edge browser. If it keeps the installation of the old Edge, are you able to use both versions of Edge or just the new Chrome based one? Thanks!

    Hi catspyjamas,

I'm using the beta but the "normal" old version is still available (and can be used) in my Start Menu (Win10 1903 - Build 18362.356).
    Hope this helps ...

Thanks, it does help! Just wanted to check in case I found I was stuck with the new version and it wasn't to my liking.

Installing Chromium Edge doesn't affect original Edge as both run separately.
