I think there is more to it than that. History has shown that businesses often shun the latest and greatest for stable and proven. Windows 7 is a lot closer in functionality to XP than 8 is so training costs will be lower. $$ matters so if going to 7 will cost less they will do it.Lee, post: 12360, member: 135 said:. . .Just more Win 8 is crap article. . .

By and large, business will never take up tifkam. Some small numbers, those who actually NEED windows on a tablet... but not many, in the grand scheme of things.

MoreWith Windows 9 rumored to be coming out early next year, there's little reason for businesses just transitioning off Windows XP to ever deploy Windows 8, experts say.
With a user learning curve, hardware update, and apps compatibility all posing potential hurdles to Windows 8 adoption, most businesses transitioning from Windows XP will likely wind up using Windows 7 as their new platform of choice, says Shawn Allaway, CEO of Converter Technology, which specializes in migrating businesses to new versions of Windows and Microsoft Office.
