If I'm not mistaken, you can also drag and drop those little icons, even order them like you want them to appear in the hidden window.

Well, I did it like that, and it works like a charm.

I ran a SFC scan and it said that "Windows didn't find any integrity violations".
Well that's good, but do not think that may help you, did you try safe mode or clean boot, need to know first if it happens there.
Truthfully needed to start another thread for this, as too many other talks going on here.

    Hello:
I have been able to install offline this KB. But my problem is different.
When I go to the Configuration>Updates & Security>Windows Update, only I can see some dots moving from the left to the right and so on, just in to the head of the white square on the right of the screen. Because that I never know if Windows is updating or not. There's any way to correct this "bug"? Or, Windows 10 Home can't to show anything in this screen?
Thanks for this great forum and for yours anwers in advance.
Note: In the Control Panel>Programs & Features>View Installed Updates yes, I can see the name of this KB as "installed", but is a terrific way to know how updated your pc is.

    Hi
    Welcome to the forum

To see if updates are working, click the advanced options from this page, on the next screen should be an option to view update history
if you check this you should at least be getting a defender update every day

That should eventually stop. Then you get Windows is up to date, or a list of updates being installed.

There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800705b4)

If you talk about the Advanced Options of the Windows Update page, also these options do not appear.
And yes, I can see one time an update by Windows Defender, but not in the page wich us are talking about; just because the advertising in the Desktop Tool Bar, Notifications new icon. Never in the Windows Update page.

KB3081424 causes endless loop - according to Forbes article ..
    http://www.forbes.com/sites/gordonke...ss-crash-loop/

I haven't gotten my Win10 upgrade yet, but should I NOT allow that fix - IF it does arrive, or do I have to
turn off the forced updates first?
