    Having just adopted 8.1 completely and also bought a full windows 8 tablet/laptop.... here we go again! Thank goodness for Windows!

    Would having an option to use the old style start menu be enough for those of you that want it? And having the option to turn off Metro if you want? I would think that would be easier than splitting Windows 9 into two distinct touch and non touch versions. Something in the Add or Remove Features section to toggle it on or off? After using 8.1 for a while now I don't miss the old style start menu. I do see why some want it back though. It would suck to have to reinstall to switch from one to the other after trying one side of the coin and not liking it.

    EDIT: Ops looks like already posted this thought, not paying attention and reading all the posts. My apologies. :sorry:
