When I try "Fix me"or Retry it asks me for password it rejects it. Windows log in properly, hotmail works whole kitten caboodle.

    Hi there

Hackers are after "The Count" !!!!!.

seriously are you trying to update from Skippy 18234

If I go into update it just sits there. Not even any spinning arrows on the checking for updates.

    Cheers

I'm using the free version so I don't think it has VIBOOT.

Sure it does - just install it separately if you did not install it.
Yes, I use viBoot in MR Free. There's a tick box in the MR installer to include viBoot. If you didn't install it at first, run the installer again and you can modify your choices. viBoot requires Hyper-V, but you could always export the VM if you want to use something else.

Do you still need to do your old trick of typing registry key but not pressing enter, going to settings and changing to Skip Ahead and then pressing enter on the regedit?

Last time I tried it, you still had to do that, but I have not tried for this Skip Ahead campaign. One to test in a vm.
