Yeah the makeover of the humble notepad is just about the only really useful feature coupled with improved clipboard. Every thing else is just show without substance imo.

At least it's not Edge-centric this time. There are some nice fixes for looks and feel, File Explorer and folder views in dark mode are now quite even.

Decided to clean install it and you still have to run setup via the command prompt. No issues of note so far.

Just noticed that my clean install didn't create a recovery partition. I wonder if that is connected to the WinRE problems.

Yep! I'm back in business with 17711 with winshowhide activated to hide 17713 which I ain't about to try again.

The Clock/Calendar won't open unless you open the Start Menu first?

A clean install starts with formatting drive C:, there is nothing to recover.
