How is that related to my comment?
I thought, that you are referring to "17134.5 is still buggy" 17134.12 is most likely going to be ZDP after a successful internal testing. Considering, that no other update was released afterwards, it looks promising. Either being released on patch Tuesday or ASAP.

Maybe but not yet on full release.

Now I have updated to 1803, but not without problems. My BitDefender is reporting, that the Firewall can't start, and windows Security-setting reports about a security-problem, as the Firewall is not running.
Anybody knows how to fix this?
I had the EXACT same issue with BD Total Security 2018. Firewall would not turn on after update no matter what i tried.

Did chat with BD support who had me go into "Programs & Features' & uninstall BD Total Security & reinstall (done automatically if you choose reinstallation option) That fixed the problem for me & i think they sent out a program update (mine shows v. 22.0.19.242)

    HTH!

did you guys update the BIOS with the newer uCodes released by Intel? If that's the case then it's normal to be protected even under 17134.1 because that protection does not come from the os side but rather from the BIOS one.
For those of us who don't have an official bios update, the only way to be protected is through a software ucode update which ms did with its optional kb. I was protected under FCU .402 with that KB installed (i double checked with either inspectre and via powershell speculation control), but am not anymore under 17134.1. Some other user on this very forum wrote:
"The Skip Ahead Update, Build 17369, is using the latest microcode from Intel on both my i7-2600 and i7-920.The Inspectre now shows that both Spectre and Meltdown as fixed on both processors. HWinfo also shows the microcode is updated on both to match Intel March guidance."
That makes me think that MS included the updated uCode again in those builds and we should hopefully get it when those updates get pushed through WU (some say May 8th which marks the first patch tuesday since this major update).
IOW, short of a BIOS/UEFI MC update SCU does not come with any mitigation for the Spectre threat whatsoever. It will take a separate KB for that which in fact makes a lot of sense as by doing so the user is given a choice.
Odd how they care about "Skip Ahead" edition but "skip" SCU altogether somehow....

    Cheers,

2 for 2 on clean installs - they went perfectly.

Upgrades are an entirely different story. 1 for 3 on those. One of the two failures is an older AMD machine - This is the machine that crashed during a windows update late last year (and Microsoft fixed). It reverted back to the fall version and said something about a "boot" error. The second machine also reverted back and left an error code (I didn't write it down). I'm trying to update both again....will probably end up the same way.

It happened again after the second try with the assistant tool. Everything is fine after installation until I restart Windows. At login after typing password and hit enter it just loading to forever. Also I realized that at login screen when I click on ease of access or network, it doesn't show anything at all.

Reverted back again to 16299.402, I will shut down all updates.

I have 2 running both very very slow, 58% in 3 hours on this notebook, 70% on my frontdesk computer it started about 10 minutes earlier. My guess the servers are swamped.

Since I have build 17134.5, not being offered April windows update. Is that correct? Manual checks for update keeps saying up to date.
