    VirtualBox Runtime Error Path Not Found?


    From my personal computer i copy pasted a virtual windows 10 system to another computer, ofcourse was going to edit the settings before boot to fit the new hardware (like RAM and CPU CORES) but did not get there because cant even boot.

    Having this error and no knownledge for solution.

    From its Help.. have you tried exporting, then importing on the target machine?

    If you copy paste VMs - between computers, make sure you check / edit your .vbox VM file: this is XML format.

    'Path not found' is most likely because of different user name or location of files: your virtual hard disk / cd-rom location (.vdi, .iso,..)

    So you need to check in the .vbox file where exactly the paths are: search for .vdi or .iso (I believe on the error -103 could be a code or the line number where the file path is not found) though the particular error in screenshot doesn't give more specific details.
    (by default you'll have a .vdi hard disk but you can also have .vhd or .vmdk format, you'll need to know and check this if not sure)

    If all fails, and you're still not sure what to edit, try the import / export VM method mentioned by @dalchina above.
