My annoying M/S account prompt

    So, although it seems that I am using a local account, why/how am I still getting that prompt

    Are you signed in to the Store with the MSA?

    That's ok. You can open the Store app to see if you are currently signed in to it. If you are signed in to it with the closed MSA account, then that could be the issue. The tutorial below can help show you more on this.

    Store app ?? I dont have tile set up on my w10, I converted it with Classic Shell, so have desktop showing

    In that case, you can open Run (Win+R), enter the command below, and click/tap on OK to open the Store app instead.

    Did that, all I got was all the apps, like Netflix etc etc, no mention of store, although I was probably in the store?

    If you don't plan on using the Store, then you don't need to do anything. If you do, then you'll need to be signed in to the Store with your MSA.

    For your original issue, you can turn off these two items below to stop the notification.
