I've noticed this same thing. For one who enjoys seeing their own picture when the computer reboots, this is very disappointing. How many months will we have to wait till this one is fixed?

When you log on to Windows Microsoft Direct account password without personal photo does not show. Is there a solution please?

Bassel, apparently there is no solution & thus no responses to your question apart from myself, who also does not have the answer. As stated earlier, we're all waiting for Microsoft to make the fix so don't be sitting in one place while waiting.

I'm going to revive this thread. I have 5 computers all on Windows 10x64 Pro Build 14393.10 and this issue applies to all 5 computers.

    - I have only a Local Administrator account set up for use on each of these systems. I do not have a Microsoft sign-in account set up on any of these computers. I do have a Microsoft account but I do not sign in with it.

    - I have bypassed the Lock Screen/log-in password requirement via cmd.exe > netplwiz

    - My Local Account has a picture established and it shows up on the Lock screen, on the Start menu and everywhere EXCEPT on the Welcome screen that appears on boot up. My account name shows up but not the account picture...the default grey picture appears.

    - A format/fresh install of Windows 10 x64 Pro does not resolve this.

Does anyone know how to make the account picture on the Welcome screen....not the Lock screen...but the Welcome screen.
I'm going to revive it yet again because this issue is so frustrating to me. It's only occurring after the Anniversary update. I am holding off upgrading domain joined machines (50+ of them) until this issue is resolved.

This forum is messed up. First I posted and it came up twice. When I edited the second posting, both messages disappeared.
I will say that my picture is now showing when re-shoeing, I mean rebooting the computer now. I just happened to notice it a couple days ago. The picture could have been there for a couple weeks for all I know but just noticed it. Anyway, there it is for the records people. Obviously Microsoft did a fix on that.
