Deleted administrator account on Windows 10 Surface Pro 3

Good day everyone,
So I have a Surface Pro 3 and have updated to Windows 10. I got a new laptop and gave my brother the Surface Pro 3 with Windows 10. Instead of factory resetting,I made him a local account and deleted my account. By doing this I didn't realize I was deleting the administrator account . Now any time he goes to download or attempt to make any changes to the computer he is prompted to enter the admin password. I know the password but it doesn't give anywhere to type the password and the only option it gives is to "cancel" . The computer won't allow us to do anything without the ability to type in that admin password. If I go to "my computer" and users I can see that my old profile the admin account is still there. But I can't open it or access it since I cannot type the admin password . I can't create a new user account or elevate his privileges with that local account . How can i factory reset or re create that admin account? I've also tried resetting to factory settings but it won't allow me to do so as most of the options are not there.

Hi.
You can try enabling the hidden administrator account. See option #4 here:
Administrator account - Enable or Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums
Then create an account with administrative privileges, or assign admin privileges to your brother's account.
