Can Not Make a Account on windows 10.

I can not make a new account under my main account on windows 10. I can make a new account on secondary account that I made when I first updated to windows 10. Dose anyone know how to fix this with out deleting my main account, thanks.

If you get "access denied" error, it's possible that your main account is a standard user, not administrator.

the main account is administrator, when I click "Add someone else to this PC" or "add a family member," the window pops up and goes away. When I try it on the other account it lets me add with no problem.

are you using windows 10 pro? you could try creating the account through the group policy editor, or you could right click the start button and go to computer management and navigate to System Tools>Local Users and Groups>Users and create an account in that window if that feature is in windows 10 home if that is what you're using.

I'm assuming that will work since it sounds like you're using an account that has migrated from a version of windows that you upgraded to w10, and i would guess something migrated with it that is changing the behavior of the system settings app, perhaps something you did to restrict metro features in win8.

Another thing you could try is to attach that user to a microsoft account if its not already, i'm not certain what that would accomplish but i think it has a good chance of helping, just remember that the password to log in will be what ever you use when you make that connection and not what it is currently.
