changed computer name now locked out of admin

    Press F4 for recovery, to see if it may take you to advanced startup options be able to do a system restore.

    what will happen if i can do a system restore... will i lose files / programs?

    You won't lose files, but any programs installed after the date of the restore point will have to be reinstalled.

    yup... i was hoping i wouldn't lose all the software that was installed especially when there was only one key so now i have to buy them all over again - very costly

    WARNING to anyone out there
    Do not change your computer name!!!!
