    Desktop problem

    Hi all
I've been trying for the last 2 hours to get to my desktop after waking it from sleep - when I did, the appearance was really weird with the start menu over-laid onto the desktop, with no desktop or taskbar icons showing. I managed to get the taskbar icons back by right-clicking the taskbar - but there's only 3 options available (see screenshot attached)

I've logged off, restarted, cold-restarted but it's always as in the s/shot - can't right-click for Task Manager or anything other than the 3 options shown. I've logged into my wife's account and her's is fine/normal - it's just mine!

    Anyone have any suggestions please?

Thanks if you can help me out here.Desktop problem-weird.png

I believe you get yourself into Tablet Mode.
At far right of your taskbar, next to Time, there is a Notification icon > click it > click Tablet Mode.
Does that bring back your desktop ?

Thanks for taking the time to reply. That's all it was!! ....dunno how that's happened, must've been a system glitch on wake-up because I certainly never enabled it. Thank you very much indeed David.
