System error 5 | No admin rights | Lost admin password | can't reset

Hi Yet again, Windows is frustratingly taking up all of my time and I have tried everything google has to offer to try and fix it but it seems like no one has screwed up as much as I have on whatever forum. Let me explain the problem: I'm trying to set my account to administrator because I can't install programs, change account settings, make any changes through CMD without getting the system error 5 access denied message and I can't set the administrator account through CMD either. I also don't have the permission to change anything in regedit and I can't even reset my pc because it requires an administrator password which I don't have, is not "nothing" nor is it administrator or admin or password and I can't change it through cmd either. I can't even access the administrator account because it is disabled and even with an elevated cmd I can't activate the "hidden" administrator account. I've ran malwarebytes and superantispyware and I am now looking for the Gandalf of all Geeks to help me solve this problem. I'd immensely appreciate it!

Hi. When a computer is first setup, the account created is an administrative one. What happened to this account?

I can't access it. While trying to solve a problem I was suddenly receiving not allowing me to install new fonts.
It was telling me the font was not a valid file and after browsing the internet I was told to do some things to activate the administrator account and that's what I did but when it didn't solve my problem I had lost administrator rights on my user account and wasn't able to get them back (I assigned myself as admin but after applying it went back to normal). So I tried doing it through the administrator account, but suddenly it required a password which I had never set. So I tried a blank password, password, administrator and admin as password but to no avail. And now I'm stuck because I seem to have disabled the administrator account and can't enable it anymore because of the system error 5 in CMD and the fact that i need administrator rights to do so.

Okay, I need to understand a little more of exactly what has happened before I can make any recommendations. Also, please fill in your complete system specs in your profile, so we know what we're dealing with.

Where were these fonts coming from, that you were trying to install?

You are referring to the built-in, "hidden" administrator account?

How many accounts are currently on the system now?

    Is your data backed up?

Just from Dafont.com but even reinstalling the ones that are already on my pc doesn't work

Please, can you tell me/show me what you were told to do and by whom?

I can't find back the website but it was 2 things, I had cache problems on my pc and I had to clear dns by doing ipconfig /cleardns and some other cmd lines related to that, but I'm not sure that had anything to do with it, just saying. I have been having some anoying problems for some time now that I couldn't open the calculator because of an error telling me this: http://prntscr.com/9rq524
So I tried fixing it by going from admin to normal user with the only user account on this pc appart from the hidden admin account.

Afterwords I couldn't revert back to an admin account because of the same above error giving me even less permissions, so I activated the hidden admin account and logged in on that to try and make me admin again, but that didn't work so I went back to my old one and deactivated the hidden admin account but now I have lost all my admin rights and can't even bring the hidden one back up wit the cmd line that normally activates the hidden admin account because I get the error 5 problem.

You are referring to the built-in, "hidden" administrator account?

I'm pretty sure I am, I'm not sure if it's deleted but I don't think I can access it anymore unless i'm missing something, even through safe mode.

How many accounts are currently on the system now?

One, called 0utsky and I presume the hidden one.

    Is your data backed up?[/QUOTE]

Kind of, I have an external HDD with all my stuff on, but I'd love to refrain from a reset that requires me to reinstall all my programs and such.

Thanks for listening to my problem and trying to help :) I really admire the fact that you guys go out of your way helping people. I'm so fed up of trying to fix my own problems that I can't imagine someone helping others with theirs.

Really great job reaching out to people like me, you guys are like the internet's super heroes, really.

Okay. Number one: NEVER, ever, under any circumstances change the only account on the machine to a Standard User.
If you get errors like that again, we need to check the integrity of your system files, and not change things on the system.

Please see Option #4 in this tutorial:
Administrator account - Enable or Disable in Windows 10 - Windows 10 Forums

If your hidden admin account is intact, you should be able to get into it, and make Outsky an admin user again.

Once this is complete, come back here, as we need to run some scans/tests to figure out what is wrong with your system. Possibly we can fix things without a complete reinstall. Just be sure your data is backed up. Programs can be reinstalled, but data is a different story. :)

The thing is I don't have permissions to do any of the things the article suggested me to do. So all of them came with the same kind of error telling me I don't have the permission to make any changes.

I did however find out how to get to the login screen for the hidden administrator by doing an advance startup but I can't get past the login screen because it requires a password I don't know. I haven't setup any password for the admin account before and I tried all of my used passwords... So I don't know how to get past that problem.

Hope you find a solution :)

I must say this is a good one!

Please make sure all your data is backed up, and you have install media and keycodes required for any software that may need to be reinstalled. I know you are trying to avoid this, but we have to be prepared.

I am not sure if the problems are from malware, or changes you made, or both, so let's try looking for malware first.

Download and boot from the Kaspersky recovery disk. How to use it here.

Boot into Windows and run RKILL and TDSSKiller. Please post the logs here for me to evaluate.

(If at any time you are told to reboot, please do so, but then run RKILL again before proceeding, as everything that RKILL does is undone by a reboot.)

Download and run ADWCleaner. Post that log as well.

Download and run JRT (Junkware Removal Tool) and post the log.

If the system has any infections, this should take care of them all. It is possible that the password for the hidden admin account may be removed, *if* it was populated by malware.

Once you've posted the logs, we will advise next steps. If you have problems running any of the tools, just proceed to the next one.

    Logs

    1. I can't do anything with the recovery disk because my pc won't boot through USB (Don't have a CD port). I tried everything to get it to boot through USB but it just ignores it... (I followed the kasperkis steps of installing the recovery disk on usb to a bootable usd and set my bios to launch through USB)

    2. Rkill.text is attached Rkill.txt

    3. TDSSKiller gives errors when installing and when running it gives me no threats found and an empty log.

    4. Junkware removal tool requires administrator to install, which I don't have.

    5. AdwCleaner shows ReimageRealTimeProtector but I can't install it.

    6. JRT doesn't install because I don't have the admin rights

I don't know what this is, but can you delete it to your recycle bin or rename the extension from .exe to .old?

    * C:\Users\0utsky\AppData\Local\Temp\{E893B3AB-4150-494A-8D45-578BCEB44EC4}\{8C89782F-78BD-46F8-81AD-7FABE0B7DBB0}.exe (PID: 14976) [T-HEUR]
Seems there are a lot of issues with your system:

I would have you run sfc /scannow but I doubt you could get an administrative command prompt.

Are you blocking adobe in your hosts file?

Run Rkill again, and then see if you can run this please:
RogueKiller - save to desktop. Close everything else and run the exe file. Try a couple of times if it won't run. If unsuccessful, please rename it to explorer.exe and try running it that way.
