I would guess the folders you deleted need to be re-created.
Perhaps a Reset is in order.

Thanks but putting that folder back is a bit of a capitulation and wouldn't do me any good. All my photos are on another drive. Regarding a reset, I've spent days getting W10 set up so that I can use it effectively. There's no way I'd start over.

I do sincerely appreciate your time on this and the many other issues you have helped me and others on.

Ideally someone will come up with a work around. If not, a plain gray circle with my name in it isn't the worse thing I've had to deal with:)
