    I deleted the administrative account

I prefer to log in as a standard user... better security, etc... so i made the administrator account first... then made my standard user account... the computer always wants to log in as the administrator, so i was trying to find out how to change the default user (i'll ask that in another thread or something, i think... that's not the important part of this post)... i never did figure out how to change the default user... so i thought "maybe if i make it so i need to actually type in the user details of the administrator account it will make the only remaining user (my standard account) the default, and i'll still be able to do things with my main account"... so i went and disabled the administrator account... that was a bad idea... now i can't do anything that requires an administrative account...

is there any way to re-enable the administrator account?

Hello Dr. Ivo, and welcome to Ten Forums.

You might see if you may be able to do OPTION FOUR in the tutorial below to enable the built-in Administrator at boot. Afterwards, you could sign in to it to enable your administrator account.

    https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...a.html#option4

Hope this helps for now, :)

    Great news.

Yeah, go ahead and create a new thread since it's a different issue. :)
