Can only login with Microsoft Account

I have several local accounts on my computer, but the login screen only presents my Microsoft account. There is no way to switch to one of the local accounts. Also, from within windows once logged in, I have no option to switch user when I click on my identity at the top of the start menu. If I select switch user from Ctrl-Alt-Del I only get the same login screen at boot with my Microsoft account. I have the Administrator account enabled. I have tried a fair number of things including checking group policy, running SFC and DISM, making sure accounts are not disabled. SFC has an error at 58%, but DISM makes it all the way through. I got on chat with Microsoft and they gave up told me I had to reinstall and may loose some programs. Otherwise, my system works fine. Anyone have any ideas?

Hello Alan, and welcome to Ten Forums. :)

You might see if a repair install may be able to sort this for you and avoid a clean install.

    Thanks

I ran repair. It tells me It can't repair it and to try other options. Funny thing is that before repair starts I have to login and I am presented with all my local accounts to choose from. This is the case for all the troubleshooting tools.

Interesting. If you like, use the tutorial below to get details for all the accounts on your PC, and post back with them to see if it may reveal what's happening with them.

A little uneasy about posting all details. I would send in a message to you but I apparently need to get to five posts first

It's safe. There's no personal details in the information.
